All models shown were constructed using only printed A4 paper and wood glue.
(the Chris Craft boat being an exception)
On a personal note - I have found it enjoyable to combine model-building with audio-books. Try it and see if you agree...YouTube offers a wide variety.

Chris Craft Boat
The Chris Craft speed boat is a paper model that has been adapted using additional materials: wood; brass wire; LED lights; and the internal components of a used Tamiya r.c. boat from EBay. The red and green lights at the front are functional, out of brass and colored plastic with an LED light inside each of them. The wood trim cut from plywood using a jigsaw. The wooden floor panels were coffee stirrers. Mahogany stain was used. The windshield is out of plastic. The entire body is coated on the outside with lacquer and the inside with a sealant.
