The Pizza Mobile



What is it?
The pizza mobile is a portable clay-earth pizza oven, wood-fired.  It can be rented for parties and will be used at local markets.

When completed, it will have three varieties of grape vines growing on the trailer, along with fresh pizza necessities like basil, rosemary, ruccola, and orgeano.

Every step of this project has involved someone special - either a family member, a friend, a friend-of-a-friend, or just someone who happened to have just what was needed at the right time.  

Main building materials:  clay earth from Dahlem, Berlin, sand from Teltow; bamboo; water; perlite; historic bricks; fire stones, and a cast iron oven door
